Northern Arizona and southern Utah are abundant in scenic landscapes. Strong gusts of wind carrying fine leave fine sand and the awesome Co stream deteriorate the stones in the location to create beautiful forms and styles. The location is generally known as the Lavish Range and involves more than a number of Nationwide Recreational areas such as Lavish Canyn, Bryce Canyn, and the Archways Nationwide Recreational areas. Among them is a unusual geological creation – the Horsehoe Extend.
Horseshoe Extend is a horseshoe-shaped drift about of the Co River situated near the town of Web page, State of arizona ( az ), in the United States. Trained by the Glen Canyn Dam, the emerald-green Co River makes a huge bend more than a thousand toes below the forget, moving first to the eastern, then bending back to the western. The curvature is in the area known as "King Extend." It is situated five kilometers (8.7 km) downstream from the Glen Canyn Dam and Pond Powell within Glen Canyn Nationwide Entertainment Area, about four kilometers or 6 km free airline of Web page. Accessible via a ½-mile (0.8 km) increase from U.S. Path 89, it can be considered from the extreme ledge above.
