De Kas is a huge restaurant and baby's room placed in a former techniques on the borders of Amsterdam. Back in 1926 the techniques was built to house Amsterdam’s town plant centers. All of the blossoms and vegetation used for Amsterdam’s town vegetation were grown on these argument and in techniques. Over the years, the plant centers were turn down and the structures and techniques became decayed. About 10 years ago the techniques was planned for demolition, but cooking Gert Jan Hageman saw the developing and determined it would be perfect for a cafe or restaurant and veggie garden. Hageman contacted the town with the offer and finished up buying it for just 1 Dollar, which he remodeled it completely into the restaurant it is today.
Located in the Frankendael Playground, the 8 gauge high techniques restaurant is different as a spectacular developing. The lounge is huge and magnificently lit vegetation intersperse the furniture. Every chair has a clear view of the garden, the sky and the semi-open cooking area, thanks to the glass roofs and surfaces.
The restaurant has a garden close by where it increases most of its own fresh veggies, herbal remedies and passable blossoms. They also have a huge field about 10 miles from Amsterdam for periodic fresh veggies, which are gathered at dawn daily so that visitors can enjoy the latest possible substances. Anything else they can not produce themselves, they buy it from local farm owners and providers around the town.
The restaurant has no “regular” list. It changes regularly, so they don’t even list it. Once you get placed at DeKas, the only question that is requested is whether anyone has nutritional constraints.
Chef Gert Jan Hageman amounts up the characteristics of his restaurant as, “A cooking area ornamented by rich ground where fresh veggies and herbal remedies flourish. Where sunlight is different in from every side and where the cooks are free to communicate their creativeness daily using the best the season has to offer. It seems an apparent idea, but I invested 20 years ornamented by white flooring under neon lighting style before I came up with it.”
