The Book Art of Cara Barer

Texas based photographer Cara Barer uses old phone guides, pc study materials, charts, and comics to make hypnotic art forms, which she then images.

Cara Barer‘s motivation came when she saw a rain-soaked Yellow-colored Webpages relaxing on the earth. She captured its delicately curved pages and soon started the search for more guides, and more techniques to modify their overall look. She noticed she held many guides that were no more of use to her or to anyone else. She unhealthy the guide for “Windows 95” in the shower for a few time, and provided it a new appearance and objective. 50 percent Price Books became a frequent bother, and once an left behind house provided her a set of aged referrals guides, finish with pattern and ignore.
