HANIE'S CYMK 8520!

Once in a while, i come across to people that have an idea. an idea to stand out from the rest. and Hanie is one of them! i dont mind going out of my way, to design and come up with a few ideas and combinations, when you know what you want, at least the colors anyway.

she came to me with a picture, and well.... nevermind, go read her blog!

below is a picture of her idea, and what color combi she would like.

and here is what the concept looks like before put on the phone.

and below is the end result!! looks pretty awesome!!

this is the closest color to the camera as i could find. now u may notice the middleplate is yellow. but this one was the first ever i have to change. the process took a little longer than usual. but still a lab rat. lol cuz the quality was untested and everything wouldnt fit nicely, had to tweak here and there. so yes, i can now change the middleplate color for 8520. but color very limited, and please dont expect the quality to be like the original.

anyway, i promised Hanie i would retire this combination, until she change housing again. haha

this post is just to show case what i can do, if u have a creative mind. =D

so, come up with ur own, 1 of a kind in the world housing. because i GUARANTEE this is THE only one in the world. lol

WARRANTY WARRANTY WARRANTY!!

IF I CHANGE MY HOUSING, WHAT ABOUT MY WARRANTY??

A: depends, some phones can preserve warranty, like the 9700 can be preserved very easily. They can only void ur warranty if the seal sticker that’s covering the screw is broken. Or that the watercolor sticker turns red. So it all depends on the sticker and how its stuck on there. Some can, some cannot.

but yes, it is safe to say that opening ur phone, ur warranty can expect it to be void.

Another thing u need to know about warranty is, sure they give u 1 year warranty, and some of them works perfectly, they change u a new phone on the spot, or takes just 2 weeks to fix. But that doesn’t apply to everyone though.

lets be real, I’ve had customers that works in Digi, Maxis, Celcom, and they even send their customers to me simply because they will tell you, sending it to Singapore (which is where the authorized manufacturer) for repair, it will take 2-3 weeks for diagnose, 1-2 month to fix, so in all, u could be WITHOUT ur phone for 3 months tops. Just so u can save the RM30 trackball fix? Or even ur new screen for RM300? In the beginning, I thought of the same, but now, I think, fuck the warranty, there is nothing I cant fix, and if its some damage I cannot fix it, im pretty sure its not covered in the warranty. I cant live w/o my bb for more than one day, let alone MONTHS!

But im not asking u to disregard ur warranty, this is just my opinion =D

I think the question is, are u willing to be without ur phone for 1-3 MONTHS just so you can save RM30 – 500?

well well well, its been 1 year!! ONE YEARR!! crazzyyy!!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO BBH!!

anyways, i would like to take this opportunity to thank EVERYBODY that i've met and beautified ur blackberries in any ways. thank you for choosing me. i am DEEEEPLY honored.

you know, i started this blogspot exactly 1 year ago, just as a hobby!! at the time, i wanted to make my blackberry to a whiteberry (bold 9000), and there was NOWHERE in malaysia that offer this service! i was a bit bummed out. and at the time blackberry users were minimal. i was always so happy walking pass a food court or in a restaurant, seeing other blackberry users. tempted to approach them to introduce the website. but to this day, i havent done that yet. haha but yeah, i now do this FULL-TIME. i wake up, eat, shower, sleep, everyday i have to help you guys love your blackberry more! =D

but then every month after that, u see blackberry users grew exponentially! nowadays, when i walk down a food court or a walk by a restaurant, ALL I SEE is at least one person per table will have a blackberry in average. you dont even ask for people's number anymore... "hey whats ur Pin?"

i think its a good thing. blackberries bring people closer together. for you ladies, its like having ur girlfriends in the palm of ur hand at ALL times, especially in a group chat. for the guys, u can group ur 'girls' in one group, and 'bros' in another.

thus making ALL of you anti-social. haha admit it!! i knowwww i ammmm!! -.-

yes, i do understand that blackberry is NOT just a phone to its owner, its more than that. its your baby, your dearest, ur love, ur LIVELIHOOD.

you know who u are, u wake up to ur blackberry, and its bbm to ur love ones, or to tweet about what time u just woke up, and to update ur facebook status. etc etc...

for me, my blackberry has become my life! i might as well been dead for those 2 days that i was without my bb! i find myself distant from my friends w/o blackberries..... (like wtf, get urself one laaa, everybody has one!) because i only msg ppl on my bbm for any and everything! i have met a lot of my friends from my job, and now best of friends. who would've thought?

see, blackberry has become SUCH an important accessory in ur life that you just cant live without it. you lug it around with you day in and day out, it only make sense that u dress it up to, and personalize it!! well, many MANY of you have done that already. i swear i have done probably over 1000+ phones for the past year, easily! so thank you for choosing me!!

and with that said, choosing WHO to perform the plastic surgery on ur blackberry housing is also very important! yes, im sure you can change it urself (i mean, after all, i did). but if u break it urself, who are u gonna blame? lol people choose me for a reason, i think its because im more experienced, and i really do care for ur blackberry. and if its not worth it, i will tell you straight up. and i will tell you what is good, and what is not. i will tell you exactly how it is, and wont lie to you about anything. even after u change, if you've got problem, u can always come back and i will fix it for you.

is it safe? in short answer, YES. but thats not to say nothing will go wrong 100% of the time. after all, i am dismantling ur phone to its bare bone and reassemble it back together. my experience will only minimize the chances of failure, not completely avoiding it. but, u can expect your phone will function properly 100%. i've seen it all and done it all. =) there is a reason why u pay me to install these housings for you right? lol dont worry, u get to watch it go down in front of ur eyes ;)

!!!EMERGENCY UPDATE!!!

ALRIGHT, SORRY TO TELL YOU GUYS THAT I HAVE BEEN OUT OF CONTACTS ON MY BBM SINCE AROUND 11PM LAST NITE. I DROPPED MY PHONE, AND THE SCREEN IS GONE CASE. I THOUGHT TODAY I WAS GONNA GET THE REPLACEMENTS AS THE SHIPMENT WAS INDICATED THAT IT WAS ON TIME, BUT THEM PPL AT UPS WEREN'T BEING PUNCTUAL AT ALL. SO UNTIL TMRW, I WILL BE OUT OF TOUCH.

SORRY FOR THOSE APPOINTMENTS MISSED, AND SHIPMENT DELAYS IF UR ORDER HAVE BEEN PLACED FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS. CHINA HAD LANTERN FESTIVAL AND OFF FOR 3 WORKING DAYS, AND COMING UP THEY ARE HAVING A CHINA NATIONAL HOLIDAY AND WILL BE OFF FOR 7 DAYS. SO MY SUPPLIER ALL CLOSE SHOP.
